Aches, Pains, and Everything in between.

So yesterday my samples of vegan massage lotion came in and I was super excited. You see I have a bad back (I know what you're thinking I am only 23) but after having my kids I started to having searing almost paralyzing back spasms that the doctors have yet to diagnose. So to get anything that might allow me to help alleviate any of that pressure is amazing. So far the only natural approach I have had for the pain has been the chiropractor but  though it helped the rest of my back they also were never able to work that part out.
Do you have pains that you can't find help with? I'm also trying a natural homeopathic muscle gel so I will keep you all posted.

The "Crash"

No not a real crash but the metaphorical one that our LO's ultimately face when sleep has evaded them for too long. Tonight was one of those nights. Dale, and Kaid were getting off being sick last weekend and haven't been themselves. Kaid stayed happy however and embraced being exhausted where as Dale became the total terrorizer known as the napless. Tonight we were supposed be going out but last night when I saw that he was still not his happy self I had to opt out. Luckily he got a visit from his best friend and favorite cousin my adorable niece Delilah today and that definitely helped.
After hours of play and no nap all day he was done. Done with me, done with his brother, done with this day lol. I tucked him in shut the TV off and turned out the light. Than the melt down ensued. Growls of a wild animal escaped from his chest as he thrashed around repeatedly asking please tv on tv on. Then all of a sudden as quickly as it started there was silence. Okay yes this worried me to know end and I rushed into their room to find him curled up snoring like his father. This a prime example of the "crash". All I can hope is that my little man feels better after a long awaited rest.

Naps or should I say lack there of.

Okay so my two and a half year old has reached the point of I will not sleep you can not make me I will run circles around your toes and you can't do anything about it. I look at him like a lost puppy with pleading eyes and say Dale you know you're tired. What do I get as a response nope I ain't doing it I not tired you tired I not. Kid logic sometimes is a kick in the butt.
Have any of you mommas reached this glorious milestone? Have you passed it? Do you have any advice for a mom going through it for the first time? If you do please leave it in the comments below.

Bento Boxes?

So I ordered our first set of bento boxes found a great deal on BPA free ones on amazon. Well I am curious what are some good recipes to set them up. Most of the lunches that will be made in them will be for the hubby. Of course we have staples like sandwiches and leftovers but I wanted some unique ideas to surprise him. If any of you ladies know of any please leave them in the comments below.

Successful Grocery Shopping Trip

So we went to our local market and got some groceries and I felt as though it was a major success. We got some organic bananas, and potatoes, some 100 percent organic juice for the boys. Some great USDA choice meats, some vegetable based rotini, and some other great finds. I always feel great when we come back from the store and the majority of what we bought is truly healthy. No we are not perfect yes we get stuff like some chips (baked preferably) and flour tortillas but I know that more than 90% of the time I am making the best choices I possibly can for my family.

Mommy Mornings

So I wake up as every morning to the sound of mommy, mommy come here. It's a little thing but it is so perfect in it's self. Don't get me wrong I have had plenty of them where that little whisper is a full on yell and on no sleep seems like a wall to the head. Well anyways mornings are kind of routine in my house we get up Dale & Kaid play while I make breakfast. We eat and watch cartoons I will be enjoying a nice cup if coffee to keep my eyes from sewing themselves shut lol. My favorite mornings are the ones where it's kind of gloomy outside, the days when all three of us are in more of a cuddly mood.
Those mornings you can usually find all three of us parked on the floor in the living room with a big blanket and one of probably three movies "Wreck It Ralph", "Paranorman", or "Nightmare Before Christmas" (If you can't guess these are their favorites). I love those mornings because even for them it seems like the rest of the world melts away and they are just there with me. I treasure that because I know within the next 12 years they are going to think I am the most uncool person in the world.
However I'm not seeing this morning being one of those, they are still coming off of being sick so they have that pent up energy from being stuck in bed, but that's okay I want them to enjoy running around it's what their supposed to do. I just hope today is better than yesterday and we are that much closer to getting them back to there normal.
